The plan for "Fricken Frigates" is to have fun with PvP without putting hundreds of millions of your ISK on the line. The intent is to achieve victory in its battles with the use of large fleets comprised of frigates. The power of the frigate should not be underestimated. A properly run fleet comprised of frigates can overwhelm even battleships and can even be better equipped to handle the speed of a battleships drones.
Our first official fleet operation will tentatively take place on Saturday March 17, 2012. This will give new pilots time to get skills ready. One week prior to the operation a warning order will be issued. This time frame should allow enough time for recruiting the member numbers to allow us to be successful.
Interested in an Empire based PvP fleet that doesn't ask for 100% of your time, or even to tie up your main. Fricken Frigates is looking for both veterans that may have an interest in Fleet command, as well as new and old PvP frigate pilots willing follow fleet command instructions. We will conduct one primary corporation fleet engagement per week which will consist of low to null security space romes or engagements with war targets. Fricken Frigates will ensure that it consistantly maintains an at war status.
- Pilots must have the ability to use voice communications during fleet operations - TS3/ in game
- Pilots will be responsible for own losses, however the corporation may help with costs if the funds exist to do so
- In the future pilots may be required to pay dues of 1 to 5 million ISK monthly to help off set the cost for war declarations
- Pilots need to understand how the in game calendar works as it will be used to plan all corporation events such as fleet operations and and after action reviews
- Aside from the corporation founding ownership selections, the corporation leadership (fleet and squadon comanders) and will be elected by the corporation as a whole on a quarterly basis
